Your moments.
I recently came across an Instragram post where a young man was killed by someone while sitting in his car. Now this gentleman was well loved by his community. Very positive person, and that breaks my heart. When I see things like this it just continues to confirm life is not promised, no moment is. We live in time where we plan everything if we can't do it today will get it tomorrow. I am guilty as well and never think about if tomorrow does not come for me.. A few things w

Are you a Sharer or a Keeper?
I had someone ask am I the type of entrepreneur that shares information with others or do not disclose anything. This question came from me explaining that a fellow entrepreneur was asking where I had gotten a particular product from and I was letting them know. I have taught a class on candle making and I answer tons of question. By me teaching myself because I didn't have anyone to ask sharing my knowledge is important. You never know where people are on their journey.

Always Learning.
I am a self taught entrepreneur. Everything I have learned I have taught myself however I have also googled, you tube, and ask A LOT of questions. I am the first business owner from my mom kids, so I didn't have family that I could go to that I am close with. When I say self taught I mean because I did not have prior experience in this field. As an entrepreneur or just being Brandy it is so very important that I task myself with always learning. No matter how many years I am

Who are your Friends?
In life we encounter so many people that we cross paths with. When I was younger I thought EVERYONE was my friend literally but then I got hurt by a so called friend. At that point I realized everyone is not your friend. Fast forward to now as a female entrepreneur it is so important for me to have women that are on the same level as me in my circle. My Pastor preaches about this often. Jeremiah 3:15 “‘And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with k

When do you Step out on Faith?

I have been running my business online for about 2 years. Now I used to work at Time Warner in sales making decent money, however it did not allow me alot of time to for my business. I decided by my daughter's being older I was going to look for something else cut back on somethings and work my business. Well

What's the difference?
For those that follow my blogs you know I write about real life. Something I experience on a daily basis is how we support each other. Now when I say that I mean how different races support businesses. I have experienced through doing different shows that people support your product differently but why is that? I do variety of shows but I have saw that depends on the show I will sell out vs selling a few things. Then I hear a lot of times from people that I talk with that th

Sweetly Blogging: Vendors
When you are an entrepreneur away of getting your brand and product out is vending at shows. When vending how do you decide what shows you will be apart of? Do you set a goal for yourself to consider a show a good one or not? I am recently getting back into doing vendor shows. I used to vendor alot then I stepped back to focus on some other parts of my business. Now that I am getting back into things I do not vend all shows. I actually am picky, I don't think all money is goo
